JOHOR

This southern gateway city just across from Singapore boasts of her old and new Grand Palaces, her Royal museum and her magnificent mosque. Johor Bahru is also the gateway to the thriving picturesque fishing village of Kukup, just west of Johor Bahru, which is famous for her fascinating fish farms and abundant seafood restaurants on stilts. KUALA LUMPUR

Kuala Lumpur – affectionally known as “KL” - is the capital of Malaysia and the main gateway to rest of the country. This “Garden City of Lights” is the home of the spectacular Petronas twin towers – still the tallest twin towers in the world today. Within her boundaries, varied and interesting architectural styles of the old and the new can be found. Her many attractions amidst her tree lined city streets include a bustling Chinatown, her many magnificent colonial buildings, her beautiful temples and mosques and her many parks, gardens and lakes. KL also offers a sophisticated and pulsating night scene from her fine arts theatre shows and classical symphony performances of Asia’s foremost orchestra to her dazzling array of pubs, latest dance clubs and discos.

KUANTAN

Kuantan is located in the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia fronting the South China Sea. Her nearby attractions include Cherating - a popular beach resort, Beserah – a thriving local fishing village and Pancing Cave, where a gigantic reclining Buddha lies within. Kuantan is also the gateway to the mysterious lotus covered inland lake of Lake Cini is located nearby where local folklore believed that a serpent-like monster still lurks in her depths amidst the sunken remains of  an ancient Khmer city.

LANGKAWI

The legendary island of Langkawi is a fairly new but fast becoming major international gateway that lies in the West upper most corner of the country. This duty free paradise boasts of 99 islands, with clear blue waters of the Andaman Sea lapping her powdery white sandy shorelines making it one of Asia’s leading beach and island holiday destination. The preservation of her environment was paramount in the development of her tourism attractions and her resorts. As such, this island remains unspoiled. MALACCA

Malacca is the capital of the state of Malacca, on the west coast of peninsular Malaysia - a small and friendly state listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2008. This historical state of Malaysia, rich with heritage buildings, ancient landmarks and colonial structures. It was here that colonial forces first made contact with Malaysia, which eventually shaped the country into its current economic and political system. PENANG

SABAH

Kota Kinabalu is the easternmost gateway of Malaysia. SARAWAK

Kuching is the capital of the Sarawak state – the Land of Hornbills - on Borneo Island. This endearing city has an eclectic mix of historical buildings, a bustling and colourful bazaar, a picturesque waterfront and the nearby Sarawak Cultural Village in Damai – home of the world renowned annual Rainforest Music Festival. Kuching is the gateway to the many Nature Parks nearby and is a staging point for river safaris to visit remote tribal longhouses in the interiors of  Sarawak.
